CHICAGO, IL –September 14, 2016 – Procured Health, a provider of data-driven technology solutions aimed at improving patient care and eliminating wasteful spending, announced today that Gina Thomas has joined the company as the Chief Development Officer. In this role, she will focus on ensuring health systems throughout the country benefit from the company’s potent clinical spend management applications and shape Procured Health’s product strategy.
Thomas has had an expansive career in healthcare, starting as a clinician, and spanning over 35 years. She has been a proven sales leader because of her deep understanding of the problems that healthcare executives face with new payment models. Thomas has strong expertise in aligning clinicians, service line best practices, and executive-level approaches to resolving fragmentation in healthcare. She joins Procured Health from Vizient where she most recently led the firm’s activities in population health management.
Thomas began her career as an emergency department nurse across a number of hospitals in Kansas and Texas before advancing to become a Nursing Executive at Providence Medical Center in Texas. She then joined Baxter Healthcare as a cost management consultant before returning to the provider setting at Via Christi Health to develop their value analysis process, both clinically and financially. From there, she transitioned to The Advisory Board Company in various roles as a consultant, sales support, and sales executive.
As Procured Health’s Chief Development Officer, she will not only spearhead commercial efforts but also guide product vision to ensure that the company’s solutions continue to meet the ever-evolving needs of providers.
